So I've got this really stubborn hair and guess what its a real b**** when it comes to using any styling product on it and its really thick and strong sort of like Asian hair and it would usually not hold its shape for anytime longer than around 1 or 2 hours. So naturally I wondered what the strongest holding wax or clay or pomade in the world is desperately wanting to use that product because nothing else worked for me it was so frustrating when right out of the shower my head would be super sexy after sometime outside it would just weigh itself down like an anvil being dropped on someone's head.

Yeah it sucked! So I turned to uncle Google, I took to the internet and searched high and low on sites like eBay Amazon and so on for numerous reviews and ratings in my quest to find out the strongest holding Ultra firm clay/wax in the world. But soon enough I started to notice something interesting which was that most of the products had the labels 'Ultra strong hold' or 'Ultra firm hold' 'Concrete hold' or 'Super stronghold' and nearly all of them were rated by the reviewers as being either good or excellent with no real comparison between products.

For example, some would say that the Hanz de Fuko claymation had the strongest hold ever but another reviewer reviewing something like TiGi Bed Head would write "this product has the best hold ever" so as you can imagine it was a real dilemma and there was no clear-cut winner.

There was no choice, so what I did was I ordered nearly all of these products and tried them on in an attempt to pit them against each other :

TiGi Bed Head Hard to Get
Oasis Mess Up
S factor creamy moulding wax
Garnier surf style hair
Gatsby Rubber Spikey Edge
Paul Mitchell Firm Style Dry Wax
American Crew Pomade
Toni & Guy Styling Fibre
Studio Lines Invisi’ Hold 24hour Natural
AVEDA men pure-formance™ grooming clay
Go 24.7 Styling Cream and Grooming Cream
Schwarzkopf 3D Mension Mattifying Cream
Kiehl’s Creative Cream Wax
Lavera Strong Hold Styling Gel
Hanz De Fuko Claymation
Hanz De Fuko Quicksand

Needless to say, this bore no fruits as all of them disappointed but soon enough something else hit me and it was the Eureka moment that I was waiting for - I started searching for some DIY homemade wax solutions and came across numerous blogs outlining the basics of homemade wax preparation. I thought to myself, 'hey why not just give this thing a shot I mean it doesn't hurt to try right and if it goes wrong I've got nothing to lose' because these were very very cheap solutions.
The first time that I made some of my own they were okay but not that good - satisfactory but not excellent - so I decided to do some experimenting of my own because I wanted to try find out the wax with the strongest hold in the world and that was when I stumbled upon the magical recipe with the perfect ratio and frankly it blew me away!

This homemade solution vastly outperformed all other products on the list when it came to holding power and the best part is that this product is totally organic which means no toxic materials on your hair doing damage and messing with your head. Furthermore this can be easily worn and easily washed away with some shampoo and guess what? It held my hair up much longer and firmer than any other product. It was perfectly mouldable throughout the day and some hairspray would be a match made in heaven. Oh and did I forget to mention that this product also lasts a lifetime but costs a fraction of the heavyweights?

So without further ado here's the recipe for you to try it out yourself but always remember to always use a hair dryer before you apply the product! :

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 Tbsp. beeswax
  • 1 Tbsp. Shea butter (you can substitute this with unrefined coconut oil if you like, but shea butter is less greasy)
  • 1 Tbsp. jojoba oil (you can use almost any other carrier oil here, such as olive, almond, apricot kernel, or even coconut oil.)
  • 1 Tbsp. arrowroot powder or non-gmo corn starch (optional, takes some of the grease out from the oils. If you like a little bit of glossy shine then don't worry about this option.)
  • 2 vitamin E pills (optional)
**This may be too hard to apply if the temperature is too cold, if so, heat using a hairdryer then apply or change increase the amount of Shea Butter whilst keeping the beeswax in the same amount.
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a double boiler, (I usually use a pyrex bowl in a sauce pan of boiling water as my makeshift double boiler) melt the beeswax and shea butter, stirring every so often.
  2. When the beeswax and shea butter is melted, allow to sit on heat for 20 minutes to process the shea butter.
  3. Mix together arrowroot powder and jojoba oil in a small bowl, until arrowroot is dissolved into the oil. If using Vitamin E to lengthen the shelf life of the pomade,  poke the vitamin E pills squeezing the contents into the bowl and let cool until hardened.
  4. Remove shea/wax mixture from heat, and add arrowroot/jojoba oil mixture.
  5. Using your hand mixer, blend the hair pomade until it begins to turn into a pudding/taffy like texture. (It shouldn't take too long, since there is a decent amount of beeswax in the recipe!)
  6. Scoop into your designated container and store in a cool dark place.
  7. Use only a small pea sized amount on hair. A little goes a long way!

The Strongest holding matte/pomade hair wax/clay in the world

Ok imagine the scene, you're on vacation and during your break you're surfing the net when you see this hot item on Amazon or Ebay for a mammoth 20% discount but you immediately realize that you would not be staying in the same hotel for the next few days, so you wonder how you can order an item and pick it up when you don't even have a permanent address?

Well now you don't have to wonder anymore because with services such as mailboxes ETC the world has become a better place. You can now order an item and pick it up at one of their offices.

Yes it's really that simple! And if you live in Europe or any other surrounding country you can have access to "pack stations" which is basically just an automated way of doing the same thing that mailboxes ETC does. Think of it as an ATM machine for parcels - which is expecially true in Germany which has one of the best pack stations in Europe where all you have to do is register with Deutsche Post and get a gold card with which you can use the adress of the PackStation and then when your item arrives at the ATM like station all you have to do is put in the card and open your locker and withdraw the items.

Now most people would suggest that you rent a P.O or mailbox but frankly this method is much easier because it has lower fees as opposed to a monthly subscription for for renting a mailbox which can set you back around at least 20 euros a month. However the amount varies in mailbox EDC depending on how popular the city is (how many parcels are stored and what storage space is available) but it would only cost you at most around 10 euros with average prices of 5 euros the norm.

So I recommend you give it a try since there are available in several locations within a country and in most major cities there are around 5 to 10 offices. It's really convenient and cost-effective as well especially if you're on a tight budget.

Places where you can collect an internationally shipped item (mail or parcel) as opposed to them being delivered to your doorstep

Im not kidding, when there's too much light, the camera gets overexposed and cannot differentiate the colors correctly and as a result most of it gets washed out like the lush greens in grass. However when it comes to shooting at a more manageable surrounding with more even lighting it performs wonders! Take a look at some A8 samples below :

Samsung Galaxy A8 Overexposed Camera

Hello world!

I'm back with a brand new website, those of you who previously visited treblesquemusic.com welcome back!
And those of you who are new, well, welcome!

In the past month or so I learned some valuable lessons about privacy and most important of all, about life itself

First off I had my privacy leaked or rather exposed therefore I had to shut down my Google, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and so on. I had to erase my identity online (although technically thats never possible) and start over.
As if I've been given a second passport, a second chance at life. Worst of all was the fact that I had to erase my blog in the process as well (rename and hide more like it)

Oh and the second thing about life?
That's just the usual crap that people learn..... I'm still waiting for my visa to arrive and am sort of worried it won't make it in time and I'd have to hustle hard in the end as usual. I worry a lot but that's exactly what helps me be prepared and I consider it both a blessing and a curse.

On the bright side I bought the Samsung Galaxy A8 and my word that thing is sexy. It's the slimmest thing ever and I love the addition of Samsung Knox to keep all my data private. Awesome, although I'm slightly worried about having my fingerprint hijacked. I mean after all they're valid till eternity. The phone does heat quite fast but it dosent overheat, it maintains that way for a long time so that's a plus.
As far as the camera, well unless you live on the sunny side of the world you're not gonna have any problems since my word this thing overexposed, sometimes the white gets blown out which makes out the green grass at home look like it's been treated to some heavy bleaching.

Still, love the battery and the expandable storage (life saver) since I hoarde apps. Hey since when did this become a tech post? It's supposed to be my comeback season....2.0?

Im Back!! : Hello World
