I can let this define me, destroy me or strengthen me.

The minutes tick slow, the people crowd in,
my nerves ease up. For a while. 9:30 - there's been a slight delay, we begin at 9:35. I've never done a Cambridge exam and the paper format catches me off guard. I start chewing my gum, faster but eventually it fades into the background. I raise my hand, I don't know how to fill the 'component title' but the invigilator takes too much time, she's at the other end, so instead I peek opposite, a girl in a short skirt. 9:40, I've gotten off to an explosive start, I notice that part B in the first question is different from the previous ones. So I decide to do it at the end.

Wrong move.

Rhythmically my eyes take in the time
from the monstrous, green, blinking eyes in front of me. Ah my nemesis, or my saviour? I finish 80% of the paper in less than an hour. Yet my mind is clouded. I try to work out how much time I should spend on the rest. The clouds grow thicker. All routine gone. I breakdown. Panic. I finish the paper in the nick of time 9:48. 2 minutes to spare.

But what good is finishing a paper if all you
wrote was gibberish? If you forgot to mention obvious key points? If you saw them later yet had neither the space nor the time to make amends? Truth is, it's a matter of shutting my eyes and spacing out from the world, literally.

It's 9:00 the day before, having recognized
the importance of sleep before an exam I go
to bed early.

Wrong move.

My mind initially wanders into the prehistoric
age in 'A Space Odyssey 2001' then to a horror story, I nearly fall asleep.... Nearly. It's 12:00, after three hours of restlessness I figure out a neat trick, count backwards from 99 and reset when I hit the lower numbers. It works. But I wake up at 5:00. No turning back now.

My face is disfigured In the morning, an event
that is minisculed by my shocking malfunction. It has happened before and my no means is this the worst one. Twice I felt that I would end up with 0, Physics and Chemistry, twice I ended up with A's.

I feel sleepy, even now, but the truth is........

I can let this define me, destroy me or strengthen me.

Define Me, Destroy Me or Strengthen Me

Man, it's been only two weeks and she's already influenced my behaviour. Like a monkey all I did was stare at her, why? Coz I'm allowed to, she's a German and all Germans do is stare at other people haha.
But getting back to the point, I honestly do think that she's got one of the best personalities in the world, i mean literally. She would go out of her way to thank people for things that they do to help her, and she would get anxious when someone gives her a present because she's 'not used to getting things' amazing huh?

Her attitude clearly rubbed off on me, and it's a good thing I'm willing to change, 18 and I still don't have a concrete personality, in fact I don't want one, I want to constantly evolve, improve myself and just get better day by day.

Yesterday I was at German class returning after nearly two weeks, I barely knew the guys there. During recess we went out to the cafeteria and started talking, I joined them quite late, so this guy had ordered three drinks and motioned for three more, I absolutely wasn't expecting him to buy me one as well, but naturally he did. I mean I barely knew the guy, so everyone got their drinks and started sipping and I did something I have never done before.

I went out of my way, raised my glass to him and said Thank You, quite honestly if it wasn't for Jewels I wouldn't have even bothered, I would've just sipped my drink silently as well, but I'm glad I did coz guess what it not only made me feel better but I'm guessing it made him too.

Meeting people like Jewels happens once in a lifetime I guess, a complete role model, I just wanted to be her, imitate her like a kid, I mean that's what kids do, they learn by looking at their role models, imitate them, take bits and pieces from here and there. But all this only happens if you're willing to change.

So I decided to share something that could potentially be a lifesaver... If you're the right audience. If you've ever tried downloading games through a different region because the game is not available in your region only to see the download skip to 100% and subsequently an error message, well here's the problem. Well that's because Xbox needs both the region of purchase and download to be the same. The solution? Try a VPN server, but.....

Microsoft has blocked some maybe most of the public VPN Servers, so yeah no matter what method you try, in the end when you test the connection it always fails. So be warned it's not a problem with the connection, the solution?

Try a public vpn which is harder to find, maybe one from the 20th results page in Google or the best option is... If you've got around $6 to spare in PayPal balance, head over to Cactus VPN and voila before you know it you'll be punching buttons on your controller, cheers!

Yesterday I thought I was gonna die, well that's a bold way to start.

Never Google up your symptoms..... That's the easiest way to convince yourself that you're dying.

So I've been working out 3 times a day for the past month and during the past couple of weeks I noticed that my chest started paining, sometimes it got worse and sometime it got better. It really tripped me up because I always exercise about one hour daily, cardio sessions. And I'm young. So had I thought clearly I would've clearly recognized that the chances of an Angina is unbelievably low. Oh yeah, that's what Google said..... Angina.

Dad told me to neglect it and I didn't believe him but to be fair, that calmed me a bit, stopped pumping iron but switched to do or die mode... Literally.... And started jumping rope.

And to add to this I have low blood pressure which means my resting heart rate was 84 bpm, or so I thought.

In the haze of it all, internally I had panicked, although I tired to stay calm, I got the thought that death was imminent, which btw, is total BS because some sites listed that as symptoms of a heart attack. And the icing on the cake was that I had jaw pains as well, namely, my left jaw. Whenever I touched my jaw line it would hurt.

It didn't happen. And night I asked my homie Chrome whether he had the same experience, the answer..... A resounding yes.

So I guess my heart was healthy after all and before I went to bed I measured my heart rate and guess what (I may be wrong here but) it turned out to be 50 bpm. Oh wait... Maybe I should Google it up?? It's the equivalent to suicide.

So all I'm saying is livestrong but don't get too comfy, if something is really bothering ya go see a doctor.... A real one.

Workouts and Chest Pain

So I was sipping some juice when a juicy idea washed over my brain. How to Beat a bully, what's fascinating is the fact that us humans can connect two otherwise totally opposite ideas and make a composite. That's exactly what happened.

So without further ado, I present to you 'How to Beat a bully in 2 steps', behold

Scenario :

You're talking to a girl when your bully appears out of nowhere, without warning he choke holds you and starts demanding why you were talking shit about his mom, his fists clenched ready to make a knuckle sandwich, you're palms are sweaty, knees weak arms are heavy.... so what do you do now?

Simple

1) Pull out your iPhone ASAP and simply direct it at your bully
2) 'this shit is about to go viral' yell out loud
Okay so this isn't exactly foolproof but there's a good chance that it could actually work since today's society celebs included all work against bullies with numerous social campaigns, so the last thing your bully needs is to be bullied online when the video actually goes viral, given that you're recording and give you've got a broken tooth. Cheers!
